Real-Time Small Coherency Analysis and Visualization For Multi-machine Power Systems


In this project, novel real-time algorithms, methods and visualization are developed to identify coherent generators in large interconnected power system using phasor measurements. For real-time clustering, prediction capability of nonlinear functions is exploited. Enhanced visualizations are developed to aid system operators in control centers of generators with poor damping ratios among others.
